Renew. Reuse. Revolve.

At Fiastra, sustainability and circularity are not just terms; they are at the core of everything we do. Our goal is to design products that not only last long but also have minimal impact on the environment. We achieve this by approaching every aspect of our operations with a circular mindset.

Meaning of Sustainability and Circularity

For us, sustainability means creating products that are ecologically responsible, economically feasible, and socially just. We aim to minimize our ecological footprint by making efficient use of raw materials and employing energy-efficient production processes. Our products are made from recycled plastics and biodegradable materials.

Circularity takes it a step further by ensuring that products and materials can be reused, recycled, or composted, so that they can be reintroduced into the economy after their lifespan without generating waste. This cyclical process helps prevent resource depletion and reduces the need for extracting new materials.

Design and Production

Every Fiastra product is designed with its entire lifecycle in mind. From the drawing board to final manufacturing, we carefully consider how each component can be reused or recycled. This means designing for disassembly, where each component can be easily separated at the end of its use phase, which is essential for recycling processes.

Contribution to the Circular Economy

By using materials like PLA and continuously evaluating and improving our production methods, Fiastra actively contributes to the circular economy. We not only reduce waste but also ensure that our products contribute to a closed-loop system. This results in less use of finite resources and a reduction in our overall environmental impact.
